Don’s work in the community includes organzing and operating a children’s theater, (DonDel Enterprises) for over twenty years, touching generations of families. Many of those children were able to use the skills they aquired in performing to benefit them in school and later in life.
Don writes, directs and produces Delaware historical events about African Americans in Kent county and lectures in schools around the state. Don has also acted, directed and produced for the Comminity singers, the Singing Players and Second Street Players of Milford.
Don currently serves on the board of the Inner City Cultural League, the Office of Disciplinary Council for the Delaware Supreme Court, Meals on Wheels, the theater production staff for the Modern Maturity Center. He is a mentor to several Delaware State University student organizations.
Don continues to serve our community by dedicating his personal time and financial support to many community events.
